What is the Gospel of HOPE?

Jesus taught us about the Father, about Love. He taught us how to live.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Jesus was and is the Son of God, conceived and born to a virgin by miraculous power of the Holy Spirit – fulfilling God’s prophecies about the Messiah. Jesus overcame the evil one. He never sinned. He was pure and blameless, and was counted a worthy sacrifice for our sins. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Jesus is the One we are to cling to. He is the One and only One through whom we receive salvation, eternal life and renewal. In him we find true peace.

Through Jesus, our sins are forgiven when we repent and accept him as our savior. We enter a new life with Jesus as our Brother and God as our Father. This is an intimate family bond which nothing can sever.

The gospel is also the proclamation that this very Jesus - exalted to the right hand of God’s throne, will return to earth and establish this Government of Peace on earth. He must return to save Mankind from utter destruction. He comes in full glory and power. Peace will reign and all people will come to know God.

The gospel is the story about Jesus.The promises to Israel and to all mankind. The fulfillment of these promises and prophecies about the Messiah - His birth, his life and his death. His power to forgive sin. His empowerment of his followers to live a new life of holiness. His ultimate power to judge and grant life. His power and authority over the earth. His coming Kingdom.  “Repent and be baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and you will receive the Holy Spirit", the seal of the Kingdom of God. The Gospel Story is a story about God’s love for us and the restoration of people to God. It is the story of peace and goodwill to all men. This is fulfilled in Jesus.
